Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the child of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8]) and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate agents. Her grandfather had immigrated from Greece in 1904 and her maternal grandmother was of Irish descent. Her parents were married in 1976. Psaki is also a Polish-American. In 1996 she graduated from Greenwich High School. In 2000, Psaki graduated from College of William & Mary. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in English as well as sociology. She is an active Chi Omega sorority member. Psaki participated in backstroke swimming with the William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki was first involved in the 2001 re-election campaigns of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki was then named deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary of Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced that Psaki will work as an analyst for the 2022 United States elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023, she will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform. [35] Psaki first made an appearance on television in 2023 after she was fired from her position as White House press secretary and discussed the Robb Elementary School school shooting.
